development.More than just providing sites it involves multiple and gigantic tasks like
carrying out of extensive civil works, asphalting, providing drainage,
water supply, storm water drains, erection of electric poles, installation of transformers, fixing street
lights, planting of
trees, earmarking land for parks, interacting with government agencies and finally
the allotment of sites to the members. All these tasks are carried out with his personal supervision.
A number of layouts were conceptualised and executed by Mr.
Arunachalam. Some of them are BEML Housing Society, Rajarajeshwarinagar - 3rd, 4th and 5th stage,Basveshwaranagar 1st
stage, Mylasandra layout and Tubarahalli. In fact, in appreciation to his abilities, expertise and
achievements, the Government of Karnataka, nominated him as
Chairman of the Task Force Committee. Under his leadership the
committee did an excellent job of distributing 30,000 free sites in a of 12
months. In tune with the experience of Mr. R. Arunachalam a new housing society and apartment is being built. It is unique in many respects. Keen
attention has been paid to aspects like Vasthu. For example, all entry doors
face North or East; kitchens are in the Southeast, and master bedrooms in the Southwest. This unique construction idea offers complete privacy as no doors or windows face each other. These apartments are constructed in a single row so that there
is plenty of light, ventilation and a lot of greenery. The center courtyard is in the ground level and a 3500sq.ft. terrace garden coupled with a rock garden on the hillock and connector bridge will be a marvelous sight. Apart from the housing societies, Mr. R Arunachalam has created the Best Club, a landmark club that
highlights his creativity and vision. A barren hillock, which was of no use, was converted into a heaven like place called Shakthi Hill Resort. It showcases the concept of Ayurvedic treatment, meditation and Yoga. It also has the distinction of being the only hillock resort in Bangalore. Mr.Arunachalam is the President of
the Karnataka Club & Resorts Association. He is the Vice Chairman of the Association of Housing Societies, Bangalore and also convener and advisor of many other housing societies. Mr. R. Arunachalam has been conferred the Karnataka Rajyotsava award, Priyadharshini award and many other awards for being an active
participant in the housing / tourism sector, formation of layouts, other public welfare and cultural programs. Recently a farmland project was successfully completed at Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore.
